On my way home last night, my transmission decided to blow up on me for some reason. It happened in 1st gear right before I shifted into 2nd. I am not sure what happened but there is a hole on the top of the transmission. The car will not start and the clutch just goes down to the floor. The new game plan is too save up money and fix what ever happened.

After every winter I always get new rims and tires. This year I choose to ride in style with Konig Feather’s available in matte silver, matte black and gold finishes, one-piece aluminum construction, 15″ through 17″ sizes. I ended up getting the gold in 15 inch rims. Must say these rims kick ass and will be sticking with the Feather’s for a long time to come. I got a wheel and tire combo though Discount Tire Direct for about $700 shipped.

Hyundai demonstrated a serious commitment to the aftermarket as it unveiled a slate of customized SEMA vehicles, including a race-inspired K-Daddyz Accent and an Elantra transformed into a show car by David Martin and BP Racing. This would be awesome to go to the dealership and purchase custom parts for our cars. One day I am hoping Hyundai will be adding the Beta power engine into the Accent.

I was on www.elantraxd.com today looking around on the turbo forum and found the best new site for a Hyundai Elantra or Tiburon when going turbo. The front mount intercooler kit sold on his site looks awesome and would be a huge help on the install if you were to do the turbo install yourself. Take a look around and enjoy!

The quality on these intakes looks superior to any other Intake I’ve ever seen & the pricing is awesome! I just installed a CAI on my 2006 Hyundai Tiburon and the intake sounds awesome. If you are looking for a better gas mileage and a little better increase in horsepower this is the intake to have. Check them out here for there specials.

At 260 horsepower V6 that gets 25 miles per gallon on the highway and is backed by America’s best warranty starting at only $26,995. Does everything you could want in a car and advances Hyundai. A nice blend of value with luxury touches than the Lexus RX 350. Smart people know price isn’t everything. Until you add up everything. Vist www.motortrend.com or www.hyundaiusa.com for more.

The Sonata injectors will be good for low boost setup on your beta-2 engine. The inconvenience will be at low rpms. While no boost, you will run too rich in fuel, and even more at idle. Maybe you will have trouble having good idle. In Club Accent Quebec, 2.0L Turbo setups are run with 8 injectors. There is 4 genuine(no boost rpm), and 4 controlled by a piggy-back unit (SMT-6, made by Perfect Power) to control them injecting fuel according to the demand while boost grows up while rpm goes up. To install 4 more injectors, we use a “Spacer Injector‘ installed between the intake and the engine. This part is made by Atelier HP in Quebec…. they can sell wherever you are.
For low boost setups, with the experience I have…. 4 injectors from Hyundai 2.4L 290cc should be ok if they are used with a S-AFCII to lean the mix on no boost revs. S-AFC and S-AFCII are good for fuel corrections, but they have limitations to + or - 50% fuel…. Sometime that’s not enough, especially for high boost setups, so SMT-6 is used… No limitation. Much more expensive too
If you need Atelier HP phone number, Here it is… 450-439-3518.
Have Fun !!

On a nice bright sunny day you and a couple of friends are driving down the highway to a local mall and see some flashing blue lights behind you. You pull over and you are given a ticket for your exhaust being to loud or not being from the factory. Now there is a way to fight back. Go to SEMA Action Network and let your voice be heard.
